well… Hello there!
Welcome to my little corner on the web where I share how I try to live a life full of joy, growth, and fulfilment, plus to express “everything everywhere all at once” that is happening in my mind.
Now, let me introduce myself – I am an immigrant or emigrant, depending on from which perspective you look at it. Why mention this, you likely ask? Well, making a home elsewhere far, far away from your family home is not an easy task and requires a lot of courage, hard work and sacrifices. I started gaining my work experience in my teenage year and changed my career path later in life, showing that it is never too late to pursue something that you really love.
I am a qualified tax advisor with a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in global mobility and employment taxes, which you will likely discover from some of my articles in the “work & money” section. Life has also thrown me into some rough financial difficulties couple of times, teaching me how to become financially frugal and appreciate the true value of financial freedom.
I am also a firm believer in entrepreneurship and the ability to have significant time for ourselves, as that is when our inner “light bulb” 💡 illuminates, sparking brilliant ideas. With several ventures under my belt, from selling secondhand books on a flea market as a kid to online e-commerces as an adult, I have gained certain invaluable skills and become the person I am today.
On a more personal note, I love everything that makes our soul happy, from (but not limited to) traveling, reading, mindfulness, and surrounding myself with positive vibes and good company. You will find more about my adventures and some recommendations in the “travel” section of this blog. And because I believe in embracing the new and unusual, be sure to explore the “lifestyle” section for some nifty life hacks and product reviews.
Taking this opportunity, I sincerely thank to all those people that I have encountered throughout my life that celebrated my success and supported me in difficult times. For those who didn’t truly get to know me and wished me not that well, I am grateful for giving me courage to move on, pushing me to seek out a better version of myself.
So, grab a cuppa and enjoy this blog!
Yours truly, J.
P.S. I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback, so don’t be shy and feel free to share them as comments or via get in touch! page. This way, we can grow this blog together.
